Welcome to Design Mode, farmer! This feature is all about letting your creative juices flow and making your farm look as beautiful as a freshly-bloomed sunflower.

In Design Mode, you'll be able to move resources, collectibles, and buildings around your land with ease. You can quickly remove items and return them to your chest if you change your mind. And best of all, you can craft decorations to add that special touch to your farm.

How to access Design Mode?

You can access design mode by clicking on the drag icon in the top right. You can only access Design mode while on your current island.

How do I move items?

Whilst in Design mode, you can simply click on the object you want and drag it around.

How do I remove items?

To remove an item, first click on it. A Rusty Shovel should appear. Double click that shovel to remove the item.

All removed items are returned to your chest. You can place them again by visiting your chest, selecting the item and pressing "Place"

Now, there are a few restrictions to keep in mind. You can't move resources, and certain buildings have their own limitations. For example, if there are chickens in progress in your Hen House, you won't be able to move it until they're done clucking.

But don't let that discourage you! There are still plenty of ways to get creative and make your farm uniquely yours. After all, nobody likes a cookie-cutter farm.

How do I place decorations?

To buy and place decorations, while in Design mode click on the bush decoration icon.
