# Chapter 9: Winds of Change

On **February 3rd**, the Winds of Change Chapter will begin at Sunflower Land! Here is your guide for what is coming to help you prepare for these exciting changes :rocket:

### 🌸 **Seasons**

Experience the rhythm of nature with **Summer, Spring, Autumn, and Winter** seasons. Every 7 days a new season will appear in Sunflower Land - Each season brings unique gameplay opportunities:

* **Seasonal Crops**: Plant crops like Peppers, Broccoli, Yams, and more—but only during their respective seasons!
* **Exotic Discoveries**: Discover new flowers and fish exclusive to each season.
* **Crop Guide:** Visit Betty to discover a new crop guide

### 📅 **Sunflower Calendar**

Introducing the **Sunflower Calendar**, your guide to:

* Seasonal changes.
* Upcoming in-game events and challenges.\

Brace yourself for unpredictable weather events like **Tsunamis, Tornadoes, and Locust Plagues**! To protect your farm, you’ll need to:

* Visit the **Weather Shop**.
* Craft specialized equipment to withstand these events and keep your farm thriving.
* Keep an eye out for positive events - these can unlock farming buffs & rare crops!

Expand your farming potential with **over 100 new skills**! Level up and unlock new abilities to optimize your farm and gameplay strategy.

### 🌋 **Volcano Upgrade**

Take your farming empire to the next level by upgrading from **Desert Island** to **Volcano Island**. Here’s what awaits:

* **Lava Pit**: Use this to craft **Obsidian**, a rare resource that can be exchanged for **$SFL**, Sunstones, and special equipment.
* Discover a vibrant new biome full of challenges and rewards.

### 🏝️ **Infernos Island (Lvl 30+)**

For players who reach Level 30, **Infernos Island** awaits! Here you can:

* Visit the **Solar Forge** to exchange Sunstones for valuable items like Crop Plots, Trees, Gold Rocks, and Flower Beds.
* Expand and beautify your farm like never before!
