# Healthy Gaming

Sunflower Land is committed to building a **sustainable, positive, and transparent gaming experience**. Our focus is on **fun, community, and creativity** — never on exploiting dark design patterns or encouraging harmful behaviours.

We **do not facilitate gambling or speculative practices.** Instead, our mechanics are designed to:

* Encourage **fair play and progression**
* Support **long-term community wellbeing**

### 🎁 Reward Boxes (Introduced August 1st, 2025)

To celebrate player progress and fuel engagement, we introduced **Reward Boxes**. These are not loot boxes in the gambling sense — they are **free gifts** earned through play.

**Key differences from traditional “loot box” systems:**

1. **No purchase necessary**
   * Boxes cannot be bought or spent on with money/crypto
   * They are only given through gameplay actions such as completing quests, helping friends, or winning competitions.
2. **Game-progress rewards**
   * Rewards focus on useful items like tools, cosmetics, food, and resources that assist a player’s farming journey.
   * Prizes are designed to **enhance gameplay**, not create speculation.
3. **Full transparency**
   * Odds and drop rates are **clearly published in-game**.
   * Players always know the probability of what they might receive.
