Welcome Bumpkin Builders to the first ever Sunflower Land Builder's Competition! 🚀
Sunflower Land is a community built game that has contributions from 75+ Open Source Developers & Over 200 Artists. As the game evolves, we continuously provide new opportunities for players to get involved in the game's development and help steer our future.
The Adventure Portal is the latest project which enables developers and artists to build on top of the Sunflower Land MetaVerse. This gives players the creative freedom to build quests, special events & fun mini-games inside of their favourite Web3 project!
To help celebrate the launch of the Adventure Portal, we are hosting a Community Hackathon during the month of December with $2,000 USD worth of prizes to be won.
How will the Competition work?
The Hackathon officially starts on the 5th of December Players have until the end of February to build and launch their mini-game inside of Sunflower Land.
The following week, Sunflower Land players will be able to visit the mini-games and then the winners will be announced and prizes distributed. Players will visit the Mini-games through a new portal that will appear in the plaza.
Each Adventure Portal will be able to incentivise and reward visitors with 'Arcade Tokens'. The Arcade Tokens can be exchanged for rare items at Luna.
What can I build?
The aim of the Adventure Portal is to encourage new and innovative ideas for Sunflower Land. You can build quests, gathering spaces, puzzles, events, mini-games + much more. The sky is the limit! 🚀
Your island can involve co-operative quests, unique NFT integrations, mythical quests, prizes and much more!

What prizes are on offer?
It wouldn't be a Hackathon without some great prizes! ♥️ $2000 USD worth of SFL is up for grabs! Since these arcade adventures will be available for our players, voting will be based on a range of criteria:

Your project must be submitted for launch before 12:00am 3rd of January.

Can I submit a previously built mini-game or contribution?
Yes, if you have already worked on a Sunflower Land contribution you can resubmit it as a portal.
Can I start now?
Yes, start building!
What If I don't finish my portal in time?
You can still launch your island inside of the game, however you will not be eligible for the prizes.
What can I do with the final project?
Your final project is an open source project that you can share with the world. We will be promoting it with our players but feel free to share with your friends and family as well.
