📜Portal Terms of Service

Sunflower Land, operated by Thought Farm Pty Ltd (ACN 656 309 616) (we, us, or our) now allows you to design virtual spaces within Sunflower Land where developers and contributors can create, innovate and collaborate (Portal Islands). You are a paid user of Sunflower Land who is either creating and maintaining specific Portal Islands (Developer) or participating, contributing to or interacting within Portal Islands (Contributors) (together, Players). This document sets forth the guidelines under which Developers and Contributors may participate in the Portal Islands feature of Sunflower Land (Guidelines).

As a user of Sunflower Land, you are also bound by our Terms of Service.

Access and Approval

Intellectual Property

1. As a Developer, you warrant and agree that all assets, designs, and content created for a Portal Island shall not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights.

2. You must own or have obtained the necessary rights to create and publish any content on your Portal Island.

3. You will get limited access to user data such as wallet address and gaming attributes. You may use these for the sole purpose of developing the Portal Islands. However, you cannot share or use the user data for any other commercial or non-commercial purpose.

4. You allow Sunflower Land or other builders to contribute and view the source code for the portal. Sunflower Land and builders can also reuse your work in their own designs relating to Sunflower Land.

Monetization

1. As a Developer, you may introduce monetisation mechanisms in your Portal Island.

2. Donations: You may accept voluntary payments from Contributors. You are entitled to 100% of the donations to your Portal Island.

3. SFL Fee: For in-app purchases requiring SFL, you will receive 30% of the SFL used. Payouts for SFL will happen on a monthly basis and may be subject to filters such as bots and multi-accounts. A report will be shared with you.

4. Any monetisation mechanisms employed by you on your Portal Island, other than those expressly mentioned above, shall be subject to our review and approval.

API Usage

1. As a Developer, we may provide you with access to our APIs.

2. You acknowledge and agree that you will not use our APIs maliciously, in an unlawful manner or to overload our systems.

3. We may, at our absolute discretion, revoke your access to our APIs.

Termination Rights

1. We reserve the right to remove or disable your access to any Portal Island that is found to be in violation of these Guidelines or is otherwise deemed harmful to the Sunflower Land platform or its users.

General Conduct

1. General Conduct

You agree that, in order to continue accessing our Portal Islands, you must follow these rules:

Content:

1. you must not disseminate any spam, unsolicited advertisements or direct messages to Players without their consent;

2. you must use display names that are respectful and free from offensive language or connotations;

3. you must adhere to the designated theme of each channel and ensure your contributions remain on-topic;

4. you must not create or engage with any Portal Island content involving or promoting illegal activities such as gambling, illegal drugs, animal cruelty, violence or hacking;

5. you must not disclose or request any personal information in a Portal Island;

6. you must not duplicate, copy or reproduce another Player’s Portal Island content;

Advertising and Promotions

1. you must not share any personal or private links that are unrelated to the Sunflower Land platform or a Portal Island;

2. you must not post any links with the intention of selling an item or service;

3. You may carry out giveaways, however the responsibility for organizing, managing, and fulfilling such events lies solely with you.

Language and Communication

1. You must try to use English as the primary language for any discussions in a Portal Island. If you use a language other than English, you are encouraged to provide a translation;

2. you must not use profane, offensive or inappropriate language;

3. you must not spread any false information or rumours about us; you must maintain civility, show respect to other Players, and refrain from engaging in disruptive or obnoxious behaviour;

4. you must not facilitate or engage in discussions pertaining to political, religious, or polarizing topics;

5. you must not engage in any form of harassment, witch-hunting, sexism, racism, or hate;

6. you must not carry out any impersonation, especially in a manner that causes confusion or harm, such as posing as staff or using misleading usernames like ‘admin’, ‘mod’ or ‘helper’;

Support

Our team of engineers and artists will offer you support in building and using Portal Islands. Please lodge a support request through Discord.

Reporting

1. We aim to keep Portal Islands fun and friendly. If you encounter a Player who is in breach of these Guidelines, you can report them directly to us. We will investigate the issue and take appropriate action.
