As we step into 2025, we’re excited to share the vision and strategy that will shape the future of Sunflower Land. Transparency is at the core of our journey, and by outlining our plans, we hope to keep our incredible community informed and engaged. Here we share what we plan on building and why.
While features may evolve as we learn and iterate, this roadmap represents the guiding principles and goals for the year ahead.
2025 marks the launch of $FLOWER, a new token that will replace $SFL. This transition is about more than just a name change. The $FLOWER token will bring added capabilities, support multi-chain gaming, and unlock fresh opportunities for players and collectors alike.
We are firm believers in community token ownership leading to network affects and increased user acquisition a solid token can lead to. Throughout 2025 we will be running multiple campaigns for $FLOWER to spread the word of Sunflower Land.

🎯 The goal is to bring more attention to Sunflower Land and more players!
In 2025 we will explore the social thesis of Web3 gaming. You will be able to visit other farms and begin co-op farming. The purpose of co-op farming is to amplify the creativity of farm design, highlight whale farms and encourage social exploration.
Players will be able to spend $FLOWER to attain exclusive farming equipment & upgrades that will promote usage of their farms.

Those who are able to attract solid visitors will be rewarded for doing so! This will lead to what we are envisioning "Promote to Earn" - this is where OG farmers or Ambassadors can attract players to their farms to earn in-game tokens.
Although we are not explicitly building friendship lists & guilds, we expect sub-communities to emerge within the game naturally based on this mechanic.

In 2025 we will do our 2nd NFT launch - pets! These are utility collectibles that can be used to enhance your farming experience and serve as loyal companions as you explore Sunflower Land!
The pets will be available exclusively at Auctions using $FLOWER.
Functionality of pets:
Feed your pet to level it up + allow visitors to feed your pet 🐶
Unlock perks & boosts at different levels ⚡
1000 Unique NFT pets for whales 🐳
Larger supply of weaker SFT pets available in game for all players 🛍️
Note: Bud NFTs will continue as our OG/member based collection. The Pets will serve as a utility collection.

Daily tasks have been a staple of Sunflower Land, but we’re committed to evolving. In 2025, we’re replacing repetitive task lists with engaging quest lines. These quests will introduce new NPC interactions, dynamic goals, and deeper storytelling, helping players feel connected to the world and its characters.
To celebrate the launch of $FLOWER, we will be running a Quest Campaign for Bumpkins to earn tokens.

Scarcity will play a pivotal role in 2025 as we refine features and enhance the marketplace experience. By carefully limiting certain resources and collectibles, we’ll create a vibrant trading economy where every item has tangible value.
The focus will remain on farming and resource-related features to drive marketplace demand and offer multiple paths for players to earn and grow.

Sunflower Land is ready to go beyond a single blockchain. We’ll be engaging with Web3 communities across multiple chains, targeting collectors, whales, and enthusiasts wherever they are. These campaigns will strengthen our presence across diverse ecosystems and amplify Sunflower Land’s visibility.
We will secure an Omnichain partner to take Sunflower Land to the next level!
In 2024 gaming communities became segmented in the L2 wars. We envision a game that can bring gamers together in a seamless experience.
We will be support multiple Blockchains and running campaigns with the native chains and protocols.

To better connect with players, we’re launching Sunflower Land on more Web3 native platforms:
Telegram Integration: Native Telegram notifications, giveaways, and community hubs will bring Sunflower Land closer to your fingertips. There is a huge audience of Web3 players that we can tap into.
Mini-Game Launch: A fun Telegram-based farming mini-game will debut, allowing players to earn collectibles & join the Sunflower Land ecosystem

By focusing on innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth, we aim to cement Sunflower Land’s place as one of the most robust and engaging Web3 games in existence.
