The composter is useful to produce fertilisers and worms used as baits. Fertilisers can be used to boost your crops/fruit, whereas worms can be used for fishing.
The compost is a building which players unlock at multiple expansions.
Expansions | Composter | Requirements |
---|---|---|
6 | Compost Bin | 5 Wood + 5 Stone |
10 | Turbo Composter | 50 Wood + 25 Stone |
18 | Premium Composter | 50 Gold |
To produce baits and fertile compost, players must gather the requirements for the composter, wait until ready and then collect/apply.
Composter | Requirements | Time | Fertiliser | Worm |
---|---|---|---|---|
Bin | Basic and Medium Crops | 6 hrs | 10 Sprout Mix (+0.2 Crop when applied) | EarthWorm |
Turbo | Medium, Advanced Crops & Eggs | 8 hrs | 3 Fruitful Blend (+0.1 Fruit when applied) | Grub |
Premium | Fruit & Eggs | 12 hrs | 10 Rapid Root (-50% Crop Growth Time when applied) | Red Wiggler |
Each round of composting, a different set of requirements is needed. Once complete, the compost will yield fertilisers and worms. Example requirements include:
Bin = 5 Sunflowers + 3 Pumpkins + 2 Carrots
Turbo = 5 Kale + 1 Egg
Premium = 2 Oranges + 2 Blueberries + 3 Eggs
Note: Bait cannot be used until November 1st when fishing is released. See Fishing.
Bait is non-tradeable.
Once you have collected your fertiliser you can select it and apply it to the soil to boost the crop/fruit. Once you have applied it, you will see a small icon indicating the fertiliser buff.
Name | Used on | Boost |
---|---|---|
Sprout Mix | Crops | +0.2 Crop |
Fruitful Blend | Fruit | +0.1 Fruit each Harvest |
Rapid Root | Crops | +50% Faster Crops |
You can apply fertilisers to empty or growing plots. Once the crop/fruit is ready, the fertiliser can no longer be applied.
Fertilisers are non-tradeable.
