๐Ÿ”คGlossary

This page is a work in progress :)

Stacking: If an items 'stacks' with another, it means its utility will work if both items are placed on a farm. If an item does NOT 'stack' with another, it will not function if both are placed. Nancy's boost will not stack if Kuebiko is already placed.

Additive & Multiplicative: If an item is additive, it means it will add onto the total yield of a calculation. If an item is multiplicative, it means it will be multiplied to the base. A player with 1 additive item (+2 yield) and 1 multiplicative (x10) item will result in the following output: (1*10)+2. A player with 2+ multiplicative items (Scarecrow + Green Thumb) will result in the following calculation: 1 * 1.2 * 1.05 BODMAS rules apply. For more detailed info on certain boosts and how they are calculated, visit Tourist's yield page on github and their duration calculations too

The multiplicative rule is not true for all items, somme items have a description alluding to it being multiplicative but an additive rule is applied instead (EG. Tunnel Mole) For a complete list of items, head to the Wearables & Collectibles

BODMAS: BODMAS stands for Bracket, Of, Division, Multiplication, Addition, and Subtraction. The BODMAS is used to explain the order of operation of a mathematical expression.

Harvest: Harvesting is a term used when a player is collecting their crops once ready to be 'harvested'. When a seed fully grows into a crop, the player can click on the crop thus harvesting it. Some players will use this term for wood and minerals.

Yield: The yield is the total output of a certain outcome. Usually, players will use this term to describe their total output from a cycle of crops OR what their total yield is from harvesting 1 crop. The yield differs depending on the amount of boosts/utility items used.

Caught: Similar to yield, this term is used for catching fish.

NFTs: NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are unique cryptographic tokens that exist on a blockchain and cannot be replicated. NFTs can represent digital or real-world items like artwork and real estate. In Sunflower Land, your farm is an NFT. Buds and Bumpkins (currently) are also NFTs.

SFTs: A semi fungible token (SFT) possesses the properties of both fungible and non-fungible tokens and that is what makes it even more interesting. A semi fungible token remains fungible until it is used for a specific purpose. In Sunflower Land, the Genie Lamp could be considered an SFT.

FTs: Fungible tokens, or FTs for short, are a type of asset split into multiple units that are fundamentally the same and interchangeable one-to-one with each other. In SFL these are the most common items, such as: - SFL tokens - Crops - Fruit - Resources

Collectibles: This is a generic term used when talking about items in Sunflower Land which often provide a boost for your farm or are simple decorative items. Items you mint or craft can also be called collectibles.
